So Cal GenCon, December 2004. White Wolf was giving a seminar called "So You Wanna Write for White Wolf," and you were there in one of the front rows, chiming in every now and then to help Phil out with his presentation. I got to talk with you and Rick Jones briefly, and I walked away feeling more enthused about writing than I'd been for two years prior. :)

I have a friend who's sigline is "just eat the damned peach" from the poem "Will I dare to eat a peach..." And one who's view of the SCA and all its titles comes down to "Get your own damned soup"... For some reason, they, and your comment just made me giggle... "Eat your own damned soup!"

No one real memory...but lots of snippets. The rare chance when we would actually get to talk when you were here. Watching you interact with the people in Stromgard and thinking "I wish I could be more like her". Seeing your reaction when you were able to serve as Court Herald when Eleric was given the Goutte de Sang. Made *me* tear up, too!
