Some days the words roll and some days they fly...



Last night, as Pat prepared to go to bed, I'd just passed the 25% mark on Venezia. By the time I went to bed, three hours later, I'd completed 26.6 (or another 1600 words, as I'm using a 100K benchmark for the book.)

I was in the middle of the wolf hunt scene, but was simply too tired to go on, and I knew I had to be up 5 hours later, so I called it a night.

However, immediately upon returning from taking Pat to work today, I dove back in and plugged away at it off and on all day. I'm now once again calling it a night.

Current percentage finished: 29.81 (I really wanted to make 30, but the chapter ended and I'm not ready to start another without sleep.)

Words written in the past 24ish hours? Almost 5K.

I deserve sleep.
