Okay, I admit it, I'm still a fangirl when it comes to much of the industry. I've yet to completely put in place my jaded armor and war goggles.

SQUEEEE!

In Northern Twilight got nominated for the Pen & Paper Fan Awards in the category of best fiction/anthology! Along side two of Greg Stoltz's books!

OMG that's great!

In Northern Twilight has actually been the book that I use as my standard for the other Exalted fiction novels. Comparatively, the Panther novel bombed in my opinion, but Shadow Over Heaven's Eyes was really good. Of course, maybe I'm just in love with Swan. *sigh*

Either way, grats. It's well earned. :)

How wonderful!

Hmmmm, but you got nominated and didn't know it until after they announced the winner? That is odd.

There are no actual nominees. The voting is all write-in. So, basically, In Northern Twilight was one of the top five gaming novels people thought of when asked for their favorite (the runners-up are not ranked).

::chuckles:: Yes but as one writer to another, I'm aware of the difficulties intrinsic in the publishing world and to see someone succeed is wonderful.
I'll offer hugs instead.
