Just passed 8% done with the first in the Venice series. I say the first, because while I knew it was the backstory to the story I originally wanted to write, it leapt out and demanded to be wrote when I sat down to begin on the Venice novel. However, earlier in the week, the first chapter for the second novel also voiced it's rather obnoxious head and so I've got at least the outline of the first chapter of that book done too. Damn opinionated books, demanding to be written!

8% isn't much, but it's almost 1/10th done, and that's how I'm choosing to look at it. I've written almost 2K today, and hopefully tomorrow will be another big writing day and I'll be able to finish the third chapter and put it up.

But, tonight I've got the Forsaken get-together with the local Cammies, which should be very fun! :)

And tomorrow is the Portland Comicon, 10am to (I think 6?) at the Memorial Coliseum Rose Quarter Exhibit Halls. I'm planning on being down there at 10 and staying til around 3ish, hanging out with Rebecca Woods (the artist who I'm working with on In A Dark Wood) and her crew. It's only 6 dollars, so if any of y'all get the notion, come on down!

Eight percent is a sizeable chunk. I'm looking forward to getting to read this, so I can then read the real story. Sorry I'll miss comicon, because I'd like to meet Ms. Wood. *hug*

Hopefully you'll give us all the scoop on the foresaken, we had a party last night and couldn't go. But I think both of us are really hoping to get into some werewolf yumminess soon.

Are you going to be playing at GameStorm?
