Bisbee actually doesn't get that hot, because it's the high desert (we're about 5500 feet up).
It's actually usually got an average temperature of somewhere between 70 and 80 degrees for most of the year, with colder in the winter (but rarely snow) and a little hotter during, say, June (our hot month). But I'm talking 90s, maybe over a hundred once in a while, not 120+ for weeks on end like Yuma or Phoenix.
sometimes the differences in how people react to snow truly amaze me.
I have NEVER had a day off because of snow. because it'd take about 3 feet in about four hours to cause canadians to close down a school. it's only happened once that I remember, and that was since I got out of school ;)
Yeah, it's awesome here in the Great Lakes region. I'd put on shorts if not for the fact that if I did then the weather would turn immediately freezing again just to punish me.
