I'm writing a novel called Marginalia.

A middle-aged bibliophile checks out many books from the library. Over time, he notices that every one of them has margin comments in a feminine handwriting. He develops a fantasy about this mystery woman, who seems to share so many of his thoughts and interests. Then the fantasy starts to fall apart when an undelivered letter - covered in dried blood - falls out of one of the books.
