I need a back up plan for my appliances. Being as though we are shipping our stuff to AZ in portable storage devices, we probably won't have room/weight capacity for our appliances. They're all no more than two years old, and I hate to "throw them in" on the house unless it becomes a negotiation point.

What we have:
Washer and Dryer set - White
Ceramic Top Stove/Oven - Bisque
Side-By-Side Refrigerator/Freezer with Icemaker/water dispenser in door - Bisque
Upright Freezer - White

I'm wondering if any of my friendslist in the W.Mass area are interested in buying any of the above on a contingency basis. I may have to pull out of the deal if we find a buyer who wants them as a part of the house-sale, so I don't want to sell them to someone who /has/ to have a fridge/stove. Maybe someone's been thinking about an upgrade?

Also, we have to be kind of flexible on timing. W/D and Freezer can go no later than the 25th of this month, when we move, but we'd like to leave the Oven/Fridge in place in the kitchen until the house sells (rather than leave a big ugly gap in the kitchen) so if the house doesn't sell before we leave, we would need to make arrangements for pick up when it does rather than at the end of the month.

I can get details pictures if anyone's interested, but I'm just kind of sounding out ideas at the moment.

actually i think having a W/D fridge and stove/oven in place and go with the house is a great selling point. that way when someone does move in they have the appliances in place, especially since they are new.

I know when my parents sold their house it was a very good selling point for them.

Yes it is, and we currently have them listed as negotiable.

However, since we have to leave for Arizona on the 25th (19 days! OMG! Sorry, freaked out there for a sec.) we need to have a plan in place in case the folks /don't/ want the appliances as part of the deal. Considering we're selling the house at quite a loss (we bought it two years ago during the boom. Prices are lower now, and we haven't been here long enough to build up much/any equity) we don't have much wiggle room with negotiations price wise, so the realtor suggested using the appliances as a negotiation point, but that means we have to be ready/willing to sell them on our own if the buyer doesn't want them.
