For those of you interested in Changeling, but unable to attend the UBCon reading this past weekend, some of the attendees have posted their notes about the reading and the Q&A session afterwards.

White Wolf Forums (notes taken by Eric Berg)(Go to the second page for notes)

Digital Dreaming (notes taken by GnTar)

I'll add more as I find them.

Okay now I am excited. Changeling done correctly was always something I was hoping for.

I think it's really interesting the things that I apparently communicated that I didn't intend to (whether that was because I over-hinted, because the other person made an assumption in the right direction, or in some cases because they got something /entirely/ different than I'd been hinting at (which should be interesting if people pick up on that and assume it was "spoiled" in the panel.)

But it was a great panel, the audience was really "present" and actively asking lots of questions. I kept refering back to "well, I can't really answer that about Changeling: The Lost, but in terms of historic themes for fairies, I've noticed that XXX or YYY is often true..."

Hurray for building interest without revealing anything specific!

*sad panda* No plans for larp. Yeah. We'll see how that flies.

That was actually a misinterpretation. What I said was that I wasn't aware of any plans for LARP at this point.

Was gonna say that before we had larp rules, we played it larp anyway. Rough, but we played.

The way that it's taking form in my head, changeling, it seems far less cut and dry. Well, not really cut at all. Seems a bit expansive and encompassing. And wet. Well, not the last one, but exactly the opposite of cut and dry. Maybe bleeding edge. That sounds appropriate.

The impression I got was that Jess is not aware of plans for a Changeling LARP book (is there even a Promethian one as of yet?), but that the tabletop books would be similar to the books inthe existing line (ie somewhat more simplistic to translate to LARp than just the base tabletop books from OWoD were).

Jess-

Black tea was really fun this weekend, wasn't it? I'm glad you had fun! I had a great time... Brian and Marc have always been insanely creative and when they took over Black Tea magic seriously started happening. I Would've liked to role play with you a little more, I wish I had time to play in more events that weekend but school rules my life...

Also, The notes from White Wolf Forum sound awesome... I am so excited about the new Changeling now that I've read the notes esp Eric's, and I'm sad I didn't get to go see it... If you do any other demos/events before the release anywhere nearby post it or let me know so I can keep up and see if I can maybe check it out... There is a pretty intense group of hardcore Changeling lovers in Buffalo, and we are all really excited.

Buffalo *is* sad to see you go. Come back and play with us soon!

Random note, It says that you were inspired by Charles DeLint.. I LOVE him.. and I don't think I know nearly enough people who read him, that's really cool.
