In which we 'splain...
Nov. 26th, 2004 09:54 pmIf you've been feeling neglected by me of late, please bear with me. Things are insane here. Not bad insane, very good insane, but insane none the less.
In case you're wondering why I've been acting a bit busy of late, or why I might be even busier in the next month or so, here is a peek at what I'm working on:
Current deadlines/dates:
12/23-28 - Entertain Pat's dad whose visiting
11/27 - Booksigning 12-4 Vancouver Mall
11/27 - Initial posing for Artfemme's Erotic Arts painting
11/28 - Booksigning 12-4 Vancouver Mall
11/29 - Blood Donation - Red Cross
12/1 - Baronial Meeting SCA
12/3-5 - GenCon SoCal
12/7 - Hoflingar Trial Test
12/10 - Autumn's School Play
12/11 - Hoflingar Trials (And my birthday)
12/15 - Booksigning - University Bookstore Seattle
Actively working on:
Creating scripts for 6 issues of comics
Planning last minute trip to GenCon
Studying /massive/ pile of material for SCA Sergeantry (Hofling) Trials on 12/11
Research for vampire novel
Planning vacation to Hawaii early next year
Pending/Waiting for response but still in the que:
Redlines/rewrites for werewolf novel
All of this in conjunction with a wonky visitation schedule for Nicole (who now has a job and never knows what her work-schedule is), helping a 4th grader struggle to learn the multiplication tables/division and learn her lines for the school play (oh, forgot to mention making an elf costume for same), as well as keeping the house liveable, food cooked, laundry done, etc. Couple that with Autumn going through a bout of not wanting to go to bed easily (ie: us spending 2+ hours every night trying to get her to go to sleep), and waking up early (between 4 and 6am) every morning, either with a nightmare or a bloody nose.
And somewhere in here I'm supposed to be prepping for the holidays?
So, just bear with me, okay?
