In which we are spoiled...
Oct. 23rd, 2004 07:01 pmPat bought me the most excellent coat in the world today.
I shouldn't have let him. But it's a once-in-a-lifetime find. It's one of those "will be wearing it when I'm 60 and still looking styling" wardrobe pieces.
It's floor length, dark dark grey wool with faux fur at the cuff and collar. It doesn't belt at the waist. Instead, it is princess cut (like a cotehardie for those of you that that means anything to) with a double row of two buttons at waist.
It makes me feel like an elegant Russian Princess. Like I should have my hair up in a fox hat and a mink muff to slip my fingers inside while I go for a sleigh-ride and wave at those who only wish they could be so lucky as to have such an elegant coat.
I adore it.
