In which we are thankful...
Dec. 23rd, 2004 02:12 amWhat a lovely day.
Spent it driving to the coast and back with Bear and Tummy. Just a wonderful, away from the house, knocking around the state kind of day...
And I returned home to find a box on my doorstep... Filled with sparkly and with chocolate... not any chocolate, mind you, but Godiva, the epitome of chocolate... In a beautiful gold box, with a sparkly red ribbon all tied up in the pretiest of bows.
I have, thus far, sacrificed one absolutely fabulous hazelnut praline pearl wrapped in a milk chocolate oyster-shell to the gods of "day before Christmas eve"... I think the next piece will be eaten in honor of scoundrels and rogues.
Thank you, my dear scoundrel...
