Just confirmed my participation in a big joint book-signing and sci-fi party at the University bookstore on December 15th. It's a Wednesday night, so I may or may not be looking for crash space in or around the U district in Seattle that night if anyone has such and is amenable. Contact me privately at jhartley(at)dsl-only.net if you're willing or have any ideas of reasonable hotels near the U district...

On other fronts, I'm still kicking around titles for my current book, but things are progressing well, title or no. Got another 1800+ words done today, which brings me over the 50K mark. More than 60% done, and still writing like mad. I may get more done tonight, as the week will be busy and I don't want to fall behind.

Current total: 50440 and 63.05%

Not at all bad... :)

I'm not near the U-District in Seattle. But I am, however, about 30 mins south in Tacoma.

My home, food and hospitality are up for grabs. All you need to do is ask. I'll make sure you get to and from your book signings, etc.

But let me know soon so that I can plan to take the proper amount of time off of work. =)
