In which we update...
Sep. 11th, 2004 01:36 pmRealized I haven't been updating much... Things have been insanely busy...
At this moment, I am:
2/7ths or 17/57ths or 29.81% done with the book
I've written:
23847 words, or about 85 pages
And I have 50 days left before my (self imposed) deadline (which is one week before my publisher-set deadline, to give me some room to tinker before the "first draft" needs to be sent in.
I currently need to write 1123 words per day, every day, to finish my goal of 80K words by November 1st.
Today, I've written over 2100 and it's only 1:40. I just finished lunch and a short break, so my goal is more than 3K words today, knowing that I'm not going to write on Saturday or Sunday of next week (Autumn War).
In other news, Nate gets married Tuesday, Autumn started school Thursday, Pat is doing good, Nicole seems to be doing well, I had lunch with my writing mentor and he's proud (And jealous) of me for my work on my writing career, and I could really use a day to just curl up and read.
I'm currently partway into:
Kushiel's Chosen
A Day Dark As Night
The Alienist
Hunter's Moon (which isn't published yet)
As well as various and sundry source books which don't really count as books, as I'm not really reading but more scanning for information, and they're still in three ring binders...
If you haven't heard from me, this is probably why...
