Well, I am a filmmaker and I love a good story, whether it is one being told to me or one I am trying to tell (sometimes, sadly, with mixed results). I enjoy fantasy, horror, sci-fi and action, but what really drives my engine, so to speak, is the supernatural thriller, the erotic thriller, the suspense thriller...okay...I admit it...I kinda like thrillers...just a little.
Right now, I am writing a television/cable series that is one part supernatural thriller, one part family drama, one part crime drama and one part character analysis. Why there are only four parts, I'm not quite sure yet. What I do know is that this is the most fun I've had writing in many years. The last project, a sci-fi actioner, fought me tooth and nail and still isn't to my satisfaction.
