How did I manage to not know you'd lived near McChord? I grew up literally just down the road a bit, since my dad was stationed at either Ft. Lewis or Madigan for many years.
More generally, even though I can't be there, thank you for doing this sort of thing both in the past and this year. In college, several of us in my dorm were from far enough away that we couldn't easily get home for Thanksgiving; we were semi-adopted by the parents of a much more local dorm-mate, and it was very much appreciated.
