jesshartleyWell, consider this a photo review of the Great Big Sea concert in Tucson last Tuesday... More when I'm not catching a plane in 12 hours.
Great Big Sea + Tiny Little Venue = HAPPY JESS!
This is how close we were to the stage. I literally watched the first half of the show with my hands on the edge of a stage that was smaller than the one my high school had in the auditorium.
Photogenic, but not telephoto. We were close enough for me to get shots like this, even with my little portable digital camera.
I swear the bassist looks just like my brother in law, Aaron!
This is the Rialto Theater on the intermission between sets... I think there /may/ have been 250 people there, total.
This had to be my favorite shot, however. Yes, Alan was looking right at me and mugged for the camera.
And, finally, for my dear housellama:
