Ahhh the days of LARP... ... I ran the third largest Vamp troupe in So Cal between '94-'96. At the height of the ensemble I had 80 players driving into Ventura from as far away as Santa Barbara and L.A. It was tough with only a core group of "helpers' at 10 people.
I gave up after the third dude tried to play without a character gen. "I don't need a character..."
"No, everyone needs to generate a character and abilities..."
"No man, you don't understand...I don't need a character because I am a vampire......"
Damn vampires.
The funny was the city we were based in was Camarillo, Ca. The Camarilla of Camarillo.
Damn...you got me missing the expierience---minus the "real" vampires.
