In which we squee!
Mar. 23rd, 2009 11:11 amI just got a call back from The Splendid Table (http://splendidtable.publicradio.org/), a public radio cooking show that I adore. They have a call in question segment, and I'd called with a question pertaining to Mongolian cooking (my SCA persona is Mongolian). Specifically, "many historic Mongolian recipes call for marmot, but it's not exactly something that grocery stores in the States carry - what readily available meat would be closest in taste and texture to marmot?"
They called me back and want me to call in on Thursday while they're recording the show to ask Lynn!
