In which we are shorn...
Jan. 18th, 2009 04:27 pmI've been debating, for over a year now, about getting a short hair style. Since our move to Arizona, my layers (which required lengthy attention with a curling iron to have much body in the first place) have been droopy and lifeless. Add frequent coloring (no, burgundy is not my natural color) and the result was a crispy dried mess which most frequently got pulled back into a ponytail, unless I was going to put the hour or so into it for an event of some sort.
I'd told myself that when I finished the project I was working on (a short story for a fiction anthology scheduled for release later this year) I would do something drastic. I wasn't quite ready for my first tattoo (saving that for when I sell my first original fiction novel) but something that would make me feel good about myself.
Today, I did it...
