For a while now, there have been rumors that the 2nd book in the Scion game, Scion: Demigod, would have an additional pantheon in it. And, while I helped write the book, many times on a team effort like this, one part of the team may not know about what another part is doing, so while I didn't remember them adding in another pantheon, I was waiting like many of the players... would it be Celtic? Maybe Native American? Hindu? We even discussed this at Connecticon in one of my panels, and I had to admit that I just didn't know what the new pantheon would be, if there would be one at all.

And, since we've moved recently, I haven't yet received my authors copies of the book (or Changeling, or Autumn Nightmares or Reliquary... *sad face*) and since we didn't get to go to GenCon, I've had to rely on reports from those who did. I was as surprised as anyone to hear that the new pantheon was Atlantean, rather than one of the traditional earth religions, but I nodded, remembering that Justin had done a really nice underwater battle scenario and I'd described out Atlantis, so... yeah, that made sense...

It wasn't until this morning, when someone on one of the forums mentioned that the Atlantean pantheon was not designed for PCs, but was offered as a ST tool, that I had a rather jarring moment of revelation.

I'd written the Atlantean pantheon they were talking about.

All this curiosity about what the pantheon would be... and I'd been the one to make it.

DOH!

Now, mind you, this was months and months ago, easily 6 projects and a cross-country move ago, so it's not totally surprising that it slipped my mind to start with, but... once they'd mentioned that it was Atlantis, you'd think something would have rung a bell...

Man... I think I need to start taking my Ginko again...

So, it turns out that not one, not two, not three, but at least four (possibly five) books I worked on premiered at GenCon this last weekend.

Changeling: The Lost
Autumn Nightmares (the first Changeling supplement)
Reliquary (the WoD book I developed)
Mysterium (a Mage supplement)

and possibly Scion:Demigod

GRRR. That's it. I'm officially inventing a time machine so that I can go back in time and attend the con.
