In which we discover new treasures...
Jun. 28th, 2007 06:52 pmToday I did some exploring (we’re at that “gotta see everything before we move on to a new location” stage), and stumbled across a neat new game store that just opened in Hadley, Massachusetts.
“Off The Wall” is located at 41 Russell Street, in the Christmas Barn Shops on Route 9, just over the bridge on the route between Northampton and Hadley/Amherst. The store is brand new, but stocks board games, miniatures, *clix and card games as well as a decent selection of RPGs (including White Wolf’s World of Darkness and Exalted lines). They’ve got plenty of tables for open gaming and run some sort of games there every afternoon/evening except Tuesdays (when they’re closed.)
Oooh, and they’ve got free Wi-fi!
The owner, Kevin, is a really nice guy (turns out he was one of the student teachers at my daughter’s Middle School last year, so she was pretty excited to stumble across him again. The sixth graders apparently called him “The Cool Guy!”) so check it out if you’re in Western Mass.
