In which we are stuck...
Apr. 12th, 2007 10:08 pmI am sitting in the terminal at Bradley Airport in Windsor Locks, Connecticut.
I am supposed to be halfway to Buffalo by now, however the weather has been alternating between rain and ice pellets, so we were loaded on the plane, taxied around a bit and then back to the terminal and offloaded. As we left, the stewardess (who I always want to call waitress, but that's a different story) said "best case scenario", they'd refuel the plane (which was tiny and thus doesn't have a big fuel leeway for things like taxi-ing and the like) and we'd be back on board in 1/2 hour.
However, until they get a clear weather report, there's not much they can do to get us off the ground.
Thankfully, it's just a little jump from here to Buffalo, so I don't have to worry about connecting flights or the like, and I've already let them know in Buffalo that I've been delayed, so... we just wait. :)
