in which we stress...
May. 23rd, 2005 09:21 amThey got another offer. Now, we've put in the offer of our "best and highest" (ie: final) bid. We've requested a decision by 5pm this evening.
It's a very generous offer, more than 15K more than the asking price. But the house is perfect for us, and we could all three be very very happy there. And, strangely, 15K over 30 years is less financially impactful to our day to day life than "do we get cable tv or make do with an antenna" or "do we really need cell phones".
Please keep your fingers crossed for us.
I'm going to drive to Springfield now, to sign a Power of Attorney for our lawyer, so he can sign the legal paperwork for us if we need him to. Then, tomorrow morning, I'm coming home, one way or another. I need to be with Pat. He's my rock, and without him, this stress is killing me.
