Yesterday, I didn't really write. Heck, I don't know that I really even thought. But that's in the past.

Today, I wrote. Not as much as I should have, but you know, what the hell. Tonight, I'm going to a class at Embers and then to watch the show, and possibly some dancing in the middle there somewhere. I'm going to have fun and I've got a Jen upstairs waiting for me to come up and change so we can go, so I'm going to call it an end of a productive day.

Today's word count: 2099 (Well, yesterday and today, really)
Total Word count: 32203
today's percentage: 2.62
Total Percentage: 40.25

Woohoo! Broke out of the terrible 30s... I always find 30% to be a miserable amount to be in... At 10 and 20 percent, I'm still new enough to the project to be thrilled to break the single digits, and then to get out of the "teens"... but by 30%, I'm feeling like I've been working on it for ages, and it's still 70% unfinished! The story's not really "gel"ing yet, and it's still almost totally not done yet... by the time 40 rolls around, well, that's "almost halfway!"

50's another good landmark, while 60 is much like 30... "Gods, I've been doing this forever, and I still have almost half to write!" By the time I get to 70, I'm feeling really accomplished, and by 80, I'm wondering if I'll have enough space left to write everything I want to write! 90 is panicky, "GODS, I'm almost done!"

*Grin* Does anyone else encounter these types of feelings at various points in their work?

Anyway, Jess Out, heading to Embers!
