I just put up a display of wine charms I created over the last few weeks for consignment sale at our local bead store. (I'm using the title "Charmed, I'm Sure!" for this little project.)

I'll go back down tomorrow to finish the labeling and take pictures after working at the realty office, then come home to write more on the project that's due Tuesday for White Wolf.

After I'm done with the writing, I'm going to make earrings for the same shop and possibly more charms/bookmarks for other stores in town.

I had 72 hits on my professional website yesterday, and 82 so far today. I should really update with another excerpt from something soon...

Cuz, of course, I have nothing else to do with my copious spare time.

how do you find out how many hits your website gets?
I want to find out how many people have gone to the ghost tour websites.
Trip Advisor wouldn't let me on their website as an 'attraction' because my website didn't get enough hits...which I think is BS.

I use Google Analytics, although the viking set it up for me, so I'm not sure exactly how to set it up to record hits, I just know how to use it once its set up.

I may stop by tomorrow! :) Depends on how much I get written tonight and whether I have time to put together my earring making/card making stuff tomorrow morning on the way to work. :)

What exactly are wine charms, Jess?

Ever gone to a party and sat your glass down, then returned to find several near-identical ones on the table and either abandoned it or played the guessing game to figure out which is yours? Or worse, picked up the wrong one and discovered something obnoxious that you'd never have drank (or lipstick on the glass... and you're not wearing any...)

Wine charms are silver hoops with beads/charms hanging from them. They can be put around the stem of your wineglass (or coffee cup or ...) to tell your glass from others. Sometimes they're color coded (I had the pink one, yours is black.) other times the charms are different but with a unified theme... ("mine was the dog, you had the cat") They're pretty, and practical, and fun for dinner parties. Sometimes brides will use them as favors at receptions or hostesses will use them as favors at dinner parties or banquets. Eventually I'll make a website for them, if they start to take off, but for now I'm just making and selling them at local stores.
