In which we see an off-off-off Broadway show...
The Valkyrie had her first Junior High Choir concert just before Thanksgiving. One of the greatest benefits of being a freelance writer by trade is that I get to go to things like this, even when they hold them first period (8am?)
On with the Show!!!

There's a graveyard across the street from her school, so I was basically standing in the cemetery to take this shot of the front of the school.

Some folks believe that Evergreen Cemetery is haunted. Here's one man's account. I'm not sure what I think, but it is very old (1912) and replaced the original Bisbee Cemetary, which was on Brewery Gulch where the City Park now stands. (The bodies were all moved, out of concern for the city's well water...)
Big Copper Doors
Ornate details
Auditorium (Pre Show)
Warmups - (You can see half of the Valkyrie's face behind the girl with the burgundy sweater and the long bangs).
The Set
Ceiling/Chandelier Details
Filing out of the auditorium and up onto the stage. The Valkyrie is in the black t-shirt (head and shoulders above her classmates... and teacher...)
The Program
The Valkyrie Sings
More singing...

And more singing!
It was a lot of fun, and while the kids were obviously nervous, they did a great job.
