In which we are stuck...

I am sitting in the terminal at Bradley Airport in Windsor Locks, Connecticut.
I am supposed to be halfway to Buffalo by now, however the weather has been alternating between rain and ice pellets, so we were loaded on the plane, taxied around a bit and then back to the terminal and offloaded. As we left, the stewardess (who I always want to call waitress, but that's a different story) said "best case scenario", they'd refuel the plane (which was tiny and thus doesn't have a big fuel leeway for things like taxi-ing and the like) and we'd be back on board in 1/2 hour.

However, until they get a clear weather report, there's not much they can do to get us off the ground.

Thankfully, it's just a little jump from here to Buffalo, so I don't have to worry about connecting flights or the like, and I've already let them know in Buffalo that I've been delayed, so... we just wait. :)

Good luck getting to Buffalo! Up here in New Hampshire we're supposed to get snow all day and into the morning. In just the past two hours our trees out back went from mostly tree-colored to mostly snow-colored. *sigh*

And they say spring has sprung?! Bah! *laughing*

ERGH. Sorry, dear. Hopefully there's at least a comfy place to read and people-watch..

meep. Is 'a little jump' close enough to drive, if need be?
(I'm not as familiar with east coast geography as I was when I lived there.)

Ack! This weather is really insane. This is the worst April ever, in recent memory for me.

Good luck! *hug*

Ugh. Well, thank god global warming is a myth, because who knows how much trouble you would have had if it was real! ;)
