In which we treat ourselves...

Yesterday, I did something just for me.

Last year I got the BPAL bug and fell for two of their scents hard: Blood Countess and Bastet. Bastet is a great musky spicey Egyptian scent that makes me feel exotic. Blood Countess is a sweet and dark plum scent that is not only delicious, but is named after Elizabeth Bathory - how could it be any cooler?

I had imps (little sample bottles for those of you who don't BPAL) of each, but they have long since been used up. And I've resisted buying more imps for ages, there has just been other things we needed/should have spent the money on.

Yesterday, I got my first paycheck for my new part-time job at the realty office (which I'm doing mostly to get people contact, as I don't want to become a hermit) and splurged. I bought a 5ml bottle of Blood Countess and of Bastet... and of Queen Crossbones by Arcana Oils, which is a honey and rum and spices scent that I also love.

So I have three bottles of "make me feel awesome wearing them" scents coming my way in the near future. Color me very happy.
