I agree, 8 or 10 inches isn't enough to cause more than a delay while the plows get the roads cleared (it did snow heavily through the morning, after all). Put the chains on the bus tires and don't speed on your way to the grocery market, and everything's fine.

Sometimes I think Pennsylvania gets more snow than New England. I suppose it's because of Lake Erie. 'Course, we got nothing on Buffalo. Those guys'll take a 4-foot snowstorm and have the airport runways cleared by 9 am. They don't think they have a lot of snow until it clears 7 feet. Lucky they've got a lake to push it all into... :)
